This board is for all things meta: feedback, discussion about the project, technical questions, and anything else related to it.

Yeah I've tried a few times to highlight newer books, especially when something like the booker longlist is published, but it never gets traction.
I agree that /lit/ moves too fast for new stuff nobody really knows and don't want to give a chance.
Admittedly a lot of new stuff is perhaps too modern for the demographic on here, but on something like the booker longlist you're going to have at least one book that could work for discussion on here. Even if 90% of discussion ends up whining about the "woke" crap I'd take it to engage with something new.

Also, /lit/ absolutely needs a catalog function, and it's very dated to redirect your page back to the main board (instead of staying in the thread) after making a post

We don't want that slop shitting up our serious elite reading, do we?

 No.8

We're already so slow, I would hate to see this place split into a dozen different mini boards right away.

Just my two cents anyways.

Nobody said anything about a dozen.
Just one (or two) for sci-fi and fantasy.

Just wait until high rates of bump conflict piss an active mod off so they contact Anonymous Dev.

How is this related to literature you might ask.
Well, it isn't. It is related to culture however and I feel like the arts kinda all belong together plus it could serve as a nice inspiration for writing.
Also I'm missing something like this on 4chan since /hr/ is just porn nowadays and /wg/ is mostly funkopop tier marvel kitsch (which I can't really complain about since it doesn't claim to be about art).
Artwork/Critique isn't even really worth mentioning.
Anyway just my five cents. Cheers!

 No.34

Good idea!
We're thinking about creating an art and critique cyclical thread on /lit/ to gauge interest. If that works out well, an /a/rt board will be added.

The spoilers should now work. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Another way to activate spoilers is with double asterisks

"This imageboard was created to restore the long gone culture and decency of 4chan’s greatest board — /lit/"
Typographic problem, linewrap on /. Breaking spaces used.
